Terms and Conditions of Sale | Maison Picturale

Article 1 – Purpose

These general terms and conditions of sale govern the sale of prints and services by Maison Picturale to consumers, following a request made via the website maisonpicturale.com or at the studio (1 passage Dagorno, 75020 Paris), and a quote accepted by the customer.

Article 2 – Pricing and VAT

Prices are shown in euros including tax on the quote provided to the customer. VAT on fine art prints is 5.5%. Maison Picturale reserves the right to modify prices at any time; products are invoiced at the rates in effect at the time the quote is accepted. An invoice is issued for every order and sent by email.

Article 3 – Orders

Any request made via the website or at the studio leads to a quote. The customer's acceptance of the quote constitutes an order and acceptance of these terms, the prices and the product descriptions.

Article 4 – Payment

Payment is made by bank transfer, after acceptance of the quote, or in person at the studio (1 passage Dagorno, 75020 Paris).

Article 5 – Making and delivery

Prints after the masters are made by hand once ordered: allow 3 to 5 weeks of studio time before shipping. Prints ship rolled in a rigid tube with their certificate of authenticity. Shipping costs are shown on the quote. Transit times are indicative and come on top of the making time.

Article 6 – Right of withdrawal

For items held in stock, you have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal, without having to give reasons or pay a penalty. However, under article L221-28 3° of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to made-to-order prints: each print is produced by hand specifically for you, from the work, process and size you chose, and cannot be resold. You expressly accept this exception when you accept the quote, which constitutes the order (article 3). This takes nothing away from the legal warranty of conformity set out in article 7: a print that is damaged, does not match what was ordered, or is harmed in transit is taken back and remade at our expense.

Article 7 – Warranty

Our products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity (2 years) and the warranty against hidden defects. In the event of a defective product, contact our customer service.
