Why design and art professionals trust us

Numbered editions, documented provenance

Every print is numbered against a public edition size, signed by the artist where applicable, and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity issued in the collector's name. Edition registries are maintained at the studio.

Archival materials, century-plus longevity

100% cotton paper, archival pigments and conservation-grade processing. All prints carry a 100-year colour stability rating under standard museum conditions (50% RH, 22 °C, no direct UV).

First access to new series

Collectors of record are invited to view new bodies of work before public release. Acquisition of artist proofs (AP) and editions 1/X are reserved for established relationships.

Discreet by default

No publication of collector identity. No marketing use of acquisitions. Private viewings at the atelier, secure digital previews and confidential shipping arrangements via specialist art logistics partners.

What we deliver

Purchase directly from the studio that produces the work, at the public catalogue price or — for established collectors — with negotiated terms on multi-print acquisitions. No gallery commission layer.

Frequently asked questions

How are Maison Picturale prints valued for investment purposes?

Like any contemporary art photography, valuation rests on artist trajectory, edition size, print rarity and provenance quality. Our editions are typically limited to 7-25 prints per format, with artist proofs reserved separately. Prints from our long-standing artist roster (Maxime Riché, Denis Félix, Max Ruiz and others) have appreciated meaningfully on the secondary market over the last decade. For insurance valuation specifically, our studio issues valuation letters on request that are accepted by all major fine-art insurers.

Can I purchase under a trust or family office structure?

Yes. We routinely invoice and ship to trusts, family offices, foundations and corporate art-holding entities. Certificates of authenticity can be issued in the legal entity name or in a designated beneficial owner's name, per your preference. We work with standard documentation accepted in EU, UK, US, Swiss and GCC jurisdictions.

How is collector identity protected?

Confidentiality is the default. We do not publish collector names, photograph acquisitions for marketing, or share identity with third parties — unless you specifically authorise such use in writing for a specific purpose. Our studio CRM is access-controlled and collector records are not shared with the artists themselves unless requested.

Do you offer secondary-market services for collectors selling Maison Picturale prints?

On request and for established collectors, we facilitate private secondary-market introductions when an existing collector wishes to deaccession. We do not act as an auction house or formal broker, but we maintain a private network of collectors and art advisors who may be interested in editions in circulation.

What conservation conditions should I maintain for these prints?

Standard fine art conditions: 18-22 °C ambient temperature, 45-55% relative humidity, no direct sunlight, no fluorescent lighting in close proximity. Conservation framing under museum-grade UV-filtering glass is strongly recommended for displayed works. Storage works should be kept flat in archival folders or on rolled archival tubes for very large pieces. We provide a written conservation note per acquisition.

Can I commission a private edition not part of the public catalogue?

For established collectors, yes — we facilitate private commissions where an artist agrees to produce a numbered private edition or a single unique piece outside the public catalogue. These commissions are negotiated case by case with the artist and the studio, with timelines typically 3-9 months depending on the project.
