Frequently asked questions

Do you ship outside the European Union?

Yes. We regularly ship to the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, the GCC region (UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman), Singapore and Hong Kong. All international shipments are insured at full value and packed in museum-grade crates. We handle export documentation and coordinate with the carrier of your choice (DHL Express, FedEx Priority or specialist art logistics partners such as Crown Fine Art or Momart on request).

What pricing do you offer to trade clients?

Trade pricing is tiered by volume and process complexity. As a guideline, multi-print commissions of 10 units or more typically receive a 15-25% reduction on the public catalogue price, before any custom edition or scale adjustments. Detailed quotes are issued in writing after the initial brief, in EUR with indicative USD and GBP equivalents.

Can you produce custom sizes for a specific architectural space?

Yes. Custom sizing is one of our specialities. Our largest standard format is Univers (100 × 140 cm), and we routinely produce bespoke dimensions for hospitality projects and large residences. The technical limit varies by process — Aquaprint and Velours allow the largest formats; platinum-palladium is generally produced at 30 × 40 cm to 60 × 80 cm for image-quality reasons.

Are these prints suitable for high-humidity environments such as the Gulf or Singapore?

All Maison Picturale prints are made on 100% cotton archival paper rated for 100+ years under standard museum conditions (50% RH, 22 °C, no direct sunlight). For high-humidity climates we strongly recommend framing under conservation glass with humidity-buffering mat boards. Our studio supplies framing partner contacts in Dubai, Doha, Singapore and Hong Kong on request.

How long does a typical hospitality project take?

A standard hospitality commission of 20-50 prints takes 8-12 weeks from signed brief to delivery on site. The timeline includes 1-2 weeks of curation and approval, 4-8 weeks of production (parallel printing of multiple editions) and 1-2 weeks of crating and international shipping. Rush production is available for select projects.

Do you work directly with private collectors or only through advisors?

Both. Approximately half of our private clients work through an art advisor; the other half engage directly with the atelier. We are equally comfortable with both arrangements and maintain strict confidentiality on collector identity when working through an advisor.
